Post N° 8

The name of my favourite subject when at University is social history of chile.  This course is taught by Professor Daniel Fauré Wednesday from 10:15 am-13:30 pm.

In classes I write much information in my notebook and Sometimes I am very tired and sleep in this class In this subject we learned the history of chile from 1780 until 1990 approximately. What I like most is the peridium of the "Unidad Popular” and its sad outcome

I like this class because I had read the books before entering the University and I like to know the history of the country to understand the processes and current reality.

When I was at school I read different authors such as: Mario Góngora, julio Pinto, Mario garces, Tomas Moulian. We have these authors also to read on this subject.

I read a book in summer that analyzed the military dictatorship in chile and the Chile of today. This book had a chapter written by my teacher, Daniel Fauré.

I like this subject because I've got me good results in examinations.

I think it is very important to teach the history of chile and Latin America in order to understand the context of countries today
