REPORT

Introduction

This year affected my practice for six months in the Ministry of Education of Chile, in a social programme to investigate the educational inequality. In this report I will explain my experience and some recommendations.

About the Ministry of Education.

The Chilean Education Ministry is the government body responsible for promoting development at all levels of education through a high-quality, humanist, democratic education that is open to the world. This ministry was founded in 1927. The minister of education is currently Marcela Cubillos.

My work experience.

My work in this research will be to perform an analysis of data and the interpretation of these, the research will take place in different schools in Chile, with interviews with more than 5,000 students.  The director in charge of this investigation is Karina Lernist, a doctor of education.

The workplace will be an office inside the Ministry, this is located in Av. Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins N° 1371, Santiago of Chile.  Working hours are Monday to Thursday from nine o´clock in the morning to six o´clock in the afternoon, a total of 36 hours per week. Work code vestment is flexing formal but this prohibited jeans.  

The types of these research professionals are teachers, psychologists, sociologist and social workers.

Conclusion.

This practice I think that it will give me a good experience for the future by the degree of complexity of the research.  The only problem I´ve seen so far is that it will be unpaid but I think that it´s worth this opportunity.
